Well I got out there and was all set and psyched up for 25 mins, about 7 mins into my run i had to stop.
New running shoes, think that was the problem. Think I'll go out on a longer brisk walk and see how they feel then.

Not allowed to use that word here lovely...not failed at all, think how far you've come in just 6 weeks...I repeated a few different runs...and like you say, new shoes...longer runs etc...
Start afresh after a long walk with them on and try again...

Ummers! 'F' word not allowed. Just try it again. As you say, onwards & upwards- you will crack it, just break those shoes in gently x
