I'm no doctor, but I'd say don't run until you're better. Perhaps gentle walking later in the day. I'm not sure this will suppress the appetite though!!!

If it was just a head cold you could keep running, but I think with a chest infection you really want to take time out. What about just going for a walk for the time you would have been running instead? Better to take it easy than risk getting more ill. Hope you feel better soon!

You definitely shouldn't run if you have a chest infection. Give yourself proper time to recover. Running will still be there when you are recovered! Hope you feel better soon.

No. You do not run. Stay at home and get better.

Eat and eat if you must. Just eat vegetables.

Thank you for all replies. I will rest up till better. When got the munchies I will turn to celery ,carrot sticks etc...you're all confirming what I thought...tablets making me feel rubbish now so don't think I could run if I tried.☺☺

Make yourself a nice big pan of veggie soup with loads of crusty bread!! Filling and good for you. You will soon be running it all off again and sooner rather than later if you rest up properly, take care and get well soon xx :)
