Aah that is so frustrating for you, but you are being incredibly sensible to rest. Your body knows best! πŸ’¦ Keep your hydration levels up too, as you wait it out! The Graduation run will be all the sweeter after a weeks rest!! 🍏

Hi Tuxthepug1 you are spot on! When we’re poorly things are completely out of our control so the thing to do is be patient and get better and build strength back ..then and only then can you actually be strong enough to get out and run. You will definitely graduate πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“ but for now just get better and take each day gently, keep hydrated and don’t forget to rest. Running will be there tomorrow ,the next day waiting patiently for you. πŸ‘πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

I was there, a year ago. I finally graduated today. (It wasn't all illness, just life and kids....) Rest up and get better soon!

Sorry to read about the chest infection. It is important that you get this fully under control before your graduation run. Rest and recover. Listen to your body and take as much rest as you need. You’ll be fit enough soon and your current fitness will not drop off of a cliff in the few days it takes to fully recover. Good luck!

That's tough luck....you'l get back to it no worries , take your time, i was admitted to hospital with pneumonia in February after several chest infections, couldn't walk 100m when I came out...Slowly Slowly got back and about to do run 2 week 6....

Hope your feeling better soon, 🀞

Sorry to hear that Tuxthepug1. My wife and I were halfway through week 8 feeling great then both came down with stinking cold and chesty cough. On the mend now both we'll give this week up and start where we left off next week. Frustrating when on a roll to though. Take care

So sorry to hear that, but look on it as part of the challenge that you are smashing :) It is really frustrating, I had to delay my week 8 with a cold but because I was fitter with doing the C25k, it didn't hang around as long. Hopefully yours won't either. I found as the cold was going I was able to run again and that seemed to help clear it up. You'll know when you are ready :) Not long now and that graduation trophy will be yours! All the best.

Nothing as frustrating as not being able to run due to health!
