Had a difficult week with my husband being taken to intensive care in hospital by helicopter last Saturday, very stressful, but amazingly all back to normal now, so did this first week 3 run this morning. The first song was appropriate, it is a beautiful day. When Lauras voice interrupted the second 3 minute run, I thought oh no, only done 90 seconds, so when she said 2 minutes done, just one to go, I was delighted! Feeling happy.

Just wait until you get to w9, and Laura says you are now halfway through, you still have 15 mins to go! lol, but you will be ready by then and running a bit easier... Sorry to hear about your husband, hope he's OK..
Well done! Especially for getting out with a very stressful week (I'm sure you probably deserved a rest but good on you!) I hope your husband is ok now, and that you found the running a good way to de-stress, I find it is.
Are you using the C25K app or podcasts? It sounds like the podcasts but I just wanted to mention the app can sometimes freeze and you end up running longer than you are meant to which scuppered me a bit at around Week 5. With the podcasts you can trust Laura's timekeeping more
All's well that ends well. Good to hear you're enjoying the running (enough to feel done in if the run stops short!), and that after the shock things turned out well with your husband. May it stay so.
So glad things have settled down for you. Running is great for taking your mind of things. I struggled with one of the runs for weeks but a couple of days after my husband was rushed to hospital I went out and had the run of my life and conquered it. I went out and just told myself today was the day I would run myself happy.
Running is great for counteracting life's stresses. Well done. Hope all is well with your husband.
Thanks to all for the encouragement and friendly comments. I do not have à smartphone, so have downloaded to my mp3. It seems to work just fine. I dont need anything more technical right know, just to jeep going, one run after another.
