Had an extra day's rest due to snow, ice & bitter head wind yesterday. Went out this afternoon & didn't mind the cold after a few minutes.

I know I run very slowly, but today during a 3 minute run I was overtaken by a chap walking home from the shops. The shame!

Anyway, week 3 in the bag. Bring on week 4.

Aww bless Sarah. I'm on my last week 2 jog which has been easy. I'm dreading week 4 to be honest as my knees are so sore.

I’m sure I saw someone mention that there’s a link to some knee strengthening exercises in the pinned post somewhere, maybe they might help with the soreness. Or it could be down to your footwear 😕. Hope they settle down soon 🤞

I thought I'd follow up on this 21 days later; I bought new shoes (brooks) and my knees are amazing. I'm preparing for week 5 run 3 😀

One day I’ll run a marathon... the marathon walking record is sub 3 hours... I know I’ll never get sub 3... it happens... and you’re on week 3, well you were... great job on it. Enjoy week 4.

In my W4R2 I noticed that my running was slower than someone walking to work through the snow! But we're on a journey and we're getting fitter so here's to slow! :)
