Feeling proud of myself!

I'm one of those people who has great intentions then quickly find excuses not to follow them through. This morning I was scheduled for Wk2 R2, I woke up to find it was raining and then my period started (sorry if TMI!) and in the past that would have been all the excuse I needed to spend the day curled up on the sofa with chocolate .

Not today though! I went out and did it, legs felt a bit heavy on the last run but I ran every single second and came home feeling great!

Yay for me :)

Yay for you indeed. Did you find that once you got out there, running isnt half so bad as you expected?

In fact, on hot days, the rain is rather welcome :)

I was a bit worried about slipping but once I got going I didn't even notice the rain and fortunately my shoes lived up to all the claims on the labels and I didn't have any problems with grip.

And you're right, as I'm one of those people who glows bright red with any exercise it felt quite nice actually!

Don't bother thinking up of excuses not to go out. Just do it! You'll always be glad you did. Resistance is futile. LOL

Keep going!

Excellent, glad you got out and felt the better for it. That's the spirit indeed. X

Yay indeed ! That's another session ticked off and instead of spending the day feeling sorry for yourself you have spent the day with a sense of achievement, and you've made another step on your fitness journey. It's ALL good !!

If I'm struggling for motivation, lay in bed in a morning, listening to the wind and rain, I log on to here and let everyone's posts motivate (or shame..) me into going out. I also think about how many more calories will show as burnt on myfitnesspal...that usually helps too, lol!! Well done!
