Proud of myself!!!

At the start of lockdown I was having to work from home, sitting on the sofa getting bored with everything. Started walking for 40 minutes a day to get a bit of exercise then in May decided to step it up and try to start running. Tonight was my 3rd 30 minute run and week 9 of couch to 5k is complete! In spite of struggling at week 7 and having to repay 2 runs I’ve really enjoyed it and plan to carry it on. Haven’t hit the 5km yet, am managing to get to about 4.3 but considering I was 19 stone 10 at the start and I’m now 18 stone 4 I don’t think I’m doing too bad! Any of you finding it difficult push on, you can do it! If you need to repeat a week or two then so be it! If a fat nearly 40 year old like me can do it you’ll have no problem!!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K and well done on losing weight as well, I see that Boris is encouraging many people to take up cycling 🚲 probably he will also encourage many to take up running 🏃🏾 as well.

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked July C25K graduation home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated. 😊 🏃🏾 🎓

Well done on the running and the weight loss. I did similar.. walked miles through boredom in lockdown so c25k seemed to be the natural progression. Did w8r1 today.. Not fast 3.7k but I didn't feel fit to collapse so that was good

Well done for finishing the programme. Most people I think repeat some runs, and you are so close to 5k! Keep on! :)

Congrats! I did the same. A lot of walking during lockdown which kind of naturally lead to the C25K plan. Completed w7r3 today and am super happy. Well done on graduating and keep going!
