Completed w2r3 but that's not why I'm proud. I am proud because I spent all weekend on scout camp going up and down hills and this morning I was still tired and thinking all excuses not to do my run. But I knew if I did that I would give up on this whole plan and be lazy and I don't want to do that. I found the run hard, just about every muscle in my legs hurt. I think the only thing that didn't hurt was my toes!. I pushed on and when I finished I was so happy I did it and then map my run told me it was a personal best. I had gone further and quicker than any of my last ones. So feeling chuffed to bits!
Bit worried about w3r1 as it should be on Wednesday when it's going to be really hot!

SHOULD be but doesn't HAVE to be? I know its good to ' keep to plan' but you DO have a ' week' of 7 days to play around with.. so if you have to delay by a day or even two due to heat, you CAN do.. and still manage within the week.. thats the way I play with it..
when it all comes down to it, the running should be fit into your life , not your life into a running schedule!
Did you have to read a copy of ' Scouting for Boys' then? but well done nonetheless
Good job on getting out there despite the busy schedule. Do some extra stretches to ease your aching muscles and take an extra rest day if you need to. Keep it slow in the heat and consider running with a cap.
Well done on doing that - you made the right choice
Once I got to week 3-4 last year, and it was getting hotter, I started running in the morning before work. Yes it means I'm up and about early (out before 6) but it's so worth it. I haven't looked back and apart from running at the weekend or during a holiday day, I'm always out early - it's the best start to the day.
