Not done this before, but I'm stopping work and going out for a sneaky lunchtime run. Don't tell anyone... Looks like T-shirt weather out there too, so I'm going for it Happy running everyone
Sneaky run: Not done this before, but I'm... - Couch to 5K
Sneaky run
Isn't it wonderful?! Going running just because you CAN! Enjoy!
Great minds clearly think alike. I too am all kitted out and ready to nip out for a cheeky lunchtime run! My new 'yurbuds' arrived so want to give them a test. My other headphones fall out of my ears. Although if I'm honest, its just an excuse to get out there while the weather is nice! Have fun!
Ha! Me too! I can run to the end of the road running parallel to our runway (I'm at Gatwick) and back in about 35 mins. Too lovely a day not to.
That sounds really cool running by the runway - what do you do there?
I'm back having completed a C25K+ Speed podcast. quite enjoyed mixing up the fast and slow but think the slow was a tiny bit slower than my normal pace. Nonetheless, I got out there, ran and really enjoyed myself!
That's what I did too, first time. The slow was too slow for me, too. I had trouble working out how to get my legs to land at that speed lol, but the fastest was faster than I normally go, and I'm a bit pooped now. Think I'll aim to do C25K+ once a week, though. Quite liked it.
Guys! I'm jealous! I only have 30 minute break and no access to a shower
Enjoy those summery runs!
Bad luck, Potty. It was a bit hot for me, to be honest! Didn't need a vest AND a t-shirt (what was I thinking?)
Ha, we've all caught that old bug they kept telling us about!
I'm not jealous, my legs are still tired from yesterday evenings 10km in the rain
Excellent!
Unfortunately after a superb spring morning in Glasgow, a storm came racing in just in time for my run. Felt as if I was actually being blown backwards at times.
Stats will be interesting when I have a chance to review
Typical! Well done for soldiering on
Very sneaky, hope it improves your productivity!
Oh the joy of the sneaky run. Nothing quite like it.
Can we call you sneaky G from now on ? J
GLudwig have you taken a break? I'm curious to see how you get on with the first few weeks after graduating. I'm getting nervous as I'm nearing the end now too. Hope it's going okay
Hi Ruth, I'm still here! No breaks for me Been doing three runs a week, mainly 5 k with one longer one, and did my second parkrun at the weekend. Glad you're still getting on well. Not long now. I'll be following your progress!
