I managed my wk5 run 2 tonight... So pleased! Felt fairly up for the first run when it came around and was surprised when Laura said I only had 60 seconds to go :-D the second run was a test of will power though... Started at the turn into my 'hill' and continued for more than 4 mins... UPHILL!!! Did it though! :-)

Well done Potty, hills are hard aren't they? I did C25K in a hilly area too, little steps is the way to go.. xxx

Well done. Running is about will power or mental strength at this stage. But you did it and on a hill too. Now for run 3, I'm sure you will breeze through it and then have a great sense of achievement. Keep going.

Well Done. I did my Week 5 Run 2 last night too. I live on the coast so it isn't hilly but it is windy. The wind was in my face during the second run and as you said it was all a matter of will. I can't believe that only 5 weeks ago I thought running for 1 minute was difficult. Roll on Friday :)

Well done you! Great work! I'm always surprised when Laura says that there are only 60 seconds left too! But then those end up being the L-O-N-G-E-S-T 60 seconds of my life!!! LOL :oD

Uphill?!?! How brave! Run 3 will be a doddle. I'm saving hills until after Wk 9.

Thank you all for your positive vibes and encouragement! I'm kind of excited about run 3 on Saturday but a little apprehensive too... 20 minutes is a big leap from 2x8 and... yes... the 'hill' is likely to kick in with about 7 minutes to go and I'll have to run the whole of it plus some... erk! Thanks again for the encouragement, hope to report back positively on Saturday and Stef, I take it you're doing your run 3 on Friday? Good luck :-)
