Couldn't manage the second 8 minutes, had to walk for half of them .I'll keep repeating run 2 before attempting run 3....why is run 3 20mins seems s big jump.
Nice to see the ducks after my failed run.

This post explains W5 healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
It is not a big jump at all as it is the shortest workout since W3.
If you are struggling, slow down.
It happens, when it feels so tough always back off the pace..
We'll done getting where you are...
Why did you have to walk? How are you feeling physically at the point you have to stop and walk? What's your breathing like? Are you out of breath?
As for the 20 mins... it's end of Week 5 and the aim is run 30 mins continuously 3 times in Week 9 .... at some point you have to transition from walk/run/walk to simply ... run.
As for it being a big jump... it isn't if you look at what you've completed so far in a different way ... Have a look at this:

Hope they help you.

My quads felt like jelly john_w.
yes I'm out of breath but not breathless. I walked mainly because of my legs, I have a weakness in my right leg glutes &hamstrings, plus a withered calf muscle from a slipped disc 15yr ago.
