Where there is a will there's a way!

It was a running day today but everything got in the way. Finished work late, children wanting feeding etc so before I knew it, darkness had descended! I am also patiently waiting for the hubby to put up my treadmill to use for occasions like this. It was a Christmas present which is still in its box! Feeling defeated, I thought I would put my pjs on and download a new running playlist. Being inspired by the new music, I thought I just have a bit of 'run on the spot' in my Kitchen. Then I had a light bulb moment, what about outside the house? We had floodlights fitted not long ago for security up the drive and around the garden. So slippers off, trainers on, phoned stuffed (where we ladies do!) and off I went. Up and down and around and around. It started raining - hard! half way through but by this stage- I am in the zone. It didn't matter that I was in my pjs (quite comfy to run in!) no one could see, although the hubby was giving me some funny looks! Anyway an hour and 10 minutes later I came back in . Looking like a drowned rat but feeling great!! A run is run after all and I consoled myself that runners run around tracks all the time, it just that my track happened to be my house! Anyway I guess what I'm trying to say is you don't have to crazy to be a runner but it helps! We can all find a way to run if we really desire to. Happy running all!! :)

Oh yes that is exactly what happened , needs must! and yes bonkers but it really felt good. Madness but it is probably better than a treadmill that will never see the light of day. Hubby was amused and after watching he was quite proud not that he would say x
