W2 and loving it!

I am so excited to be doing this program. It's great to have found this community and read all the posts. Very inspiring. I'm an expat living the past few years in florida. The American lifestyle is tough. Everyone drives everywhere. Nobody walks. After piling on the pounds I got on the NHS website and started looking for advice on health and fitness. I've completed week 1 and just did w2r1. Sometims when I'm listening to Laura I almost feel like I'm back in the UK lol.

  • Well done for taking the plunge, keep at it you never know you may start a trend and get a few more out of their cars! ๐Ÿ˜Š keep up the good work and happy running.

  • Well done on getting started and completing week 1. You've made the biggest step... keep us posted on you progress.

  • That's great , I have just complete week 1 and start week 2 run 1 tomorrow . As you say it's a great forum and Laura certainly gives you inspiration . Good luck , I know when I visited friends in Canada , people thought I was strange walking ! Are you not hot ? We have cold weather here but I am always warm quickly when I do my session !

  • The winters in florida are lovely....similar to a british summer...its cool in the morning and evenings but during the days it's sunny and gorgeous and warm. It's the best of both worlds. I have to say I don't miss british weather at all! They have 5ks every month over the winter here. I've signed up for one at the end of March. I won't have completed the the program but I'm hoping to at least run some of it. They 5ks stop over the summer as it gets too hot so im hoping by october I can sign up for one and be ready to run it. Thanks everyone :-)
