Well been out tonight and done the first of wk 4. Weather was cold but calm and Laura kept me on line. Still having trouble with the first set then on the second set I'm away and could run forever. Must just be the settling in period. Ran 2.4miles in 37 mins which I think is good. It was most definitely enjoyable and I want more. But once again I'm taking my time "walking before running " pardon the pun
WK4R1 :): Well been out tonight and done the... - Couch to 5K
WK4R1 :)

It takes me a good 10 mins to get into my stride, but then I feel I could go forever if I go slow enough.

Good on ya Jase !
Yes , first five-ten minutes I am all over the place and it does take a while to get into your stride.
Its all perfectly normal , nowt to worry about.
Well done, thats another one tucked under your belt, youre a gnats wotsit away from the halfway mark now .
Exciting times ahead, Good Luck ! xxx

Another slow starter here with the first 5 minutes always being the worst, but it is good to know at the start that it will get better during the run.

Walking before running - very sensible Jase. You're getting through the weeks great!

Sounds like you're settling into everything well and like you're enjoying yourself. My first km or so is usually rubbish and then my body seems to understand what's required! x
Yep I'm another one who wobbles about the place for the first five minutes or so. After that, much more manageable
Glad you're enjoying it, not long now before the home straight!
