Finally got over my hump of week 3 and moved on to week 4! It went really well, I slowed down on the first 5 minutes (for 1m30s) and then at the second 5 minute for 30 seconds but overall I feel really proud of completing this run. Actually ran it at a good pace as well although I was really just trying to focus on completing the 5 minutes. Glad I'm back on track.
Really proud of this progress and looking forward to Monday's run to do the full 5 minutes both times. I'm still trying to get into my rhythm of breathing and keeping a consistent way of breathing, I don't get stitches but sometimes feel I can't completely catch my breath or get it deep enough. I'll keep working on this as I run for longer periods.
N.B. I write these posts purely as a track of how my journey is going, to look back on when I complete the programme and share some of how it's going. They are in no way guidance for your own runs or suggested methods, I am just sharing my own experience.

Good idea! I didn't find the forum until week 7 and sometimes wish I had a record of my early endeavours. I graduated yesterday & now the early struggles all seem to be a blur! But such an achievement! Go you, onwards!😀
Yeah I feel like it motivates me, like now I have a public record of trying so I have to finish haha. HUGE Congratulations on graduating! Amazing work, can't wait to say the same.
Well done moving up a week, we all have hurdles to get over, I watched some YouTube vids on breathing they helped me a lot, I felt like I couldn’t breathe deep enough now it’s a lot better. Good luck
I’ve just finished week 4 and found the first run really tough, but by run 3 I was really enjoying it, looking forward to starting week 5 tomorrow. Keep going you are doing great.
I like to keep a track of my progress. After every run I’ve done I do a little video of how it went, so that when I’m not feeling motivated at anytime I just replay them back.
