Hi everyone - I have a confession to make - I have really let things slip over the last six months. Had a change in medication, stopped exercising, put on weight - I am sure some of you will understand (please!).
Anyway, enough is enough, I am starting again at week 1 - found it ok and am trying to really keep my cadence up in the running parts. Cold air makes it harder to breathe and my ankles were really hurting - maybe time for new shoes - but I did it.
i understand completely. I've had to restart the plan at least 4 times. My new years resolution is to maintain my current weight (which is actually quite good thanks to considerable stress in the last few months) and keep running regularly.
Good luck with starting again, hopefully you will enjoy doing the early weeks again and maybe you can pick up some trainers in the sales.
Hello and welcome back! I totally understand your break, it doesn't matter that you have to restart but the fact that you do, is fabulous. Well done, I wish you a wonderful and sportive year 2015.
