Help/advice getting back on wagon

So when I visited the family I completed a run and it was great! Then I found out where I ran there was someone found bound and gagged (not guilty - I was too busy running) anyway excuses to the side I haven't ran four four days and I am home now and picking it back up tomorrow. I had just finished week one runs, would the advice be to keep going and start week two?

Kindest

James (happy Easter!)

Hi James. I am following a slightly different C25K plan and have reached week 7 although it has taken me about 10 weeks to do so. This is because I get a terrible knee after running and it sometimes takes 3 or 4 days to settle down. But I just do the next run in the program - it's always tough but I guess it's the same for everyone. So my advice would be to jump straight into Week 2 and see how it feels..... put the four day break out of your mind....I'm sure you'll be fine.Let us know how you get on. Good Luck!

Yes, a 4-day break is not that much, even this early in the programme. I would just carry on and do Week 2.

Well I did it! Hardest one yet though due to maintaining PMA! Wrong jumper and only a single knot in shoe seemed to frustrate me... then it was 0 degrees and frosty... I was freezing! Then stood in mud (that I thought would be frozen) ha ha it seemed about the fourth run before let the positivity came back! Tired now but off to work we go! Thanks for the push everyone 🤗🤗🤗🌈

Well done for getting out there.

I like the smug feeling of having run before work....

That's kind of what I'm hoping for! Or at least the feeling of alertness 😳
