Well done... :-) hopeful it wasn't as bad as you may have thought. Most people worry about this one and in the end its more in the mind.

When I completed that run, I told a random passing stranger how long I had just run! Feels so good doesn't it :0)

It felt amazing. I was really nervous before hand bit when I started I just took it really steady and started a little slower than I'm used to. Before hand I thought about how I was going to think of this run... In five min blocks? Ten min blocks? Neither appealed to me so I picked a route I knew was going to take 20 mins .. And thought right .. Think of distance. It's a nice little route around a small park.. So as soon as I reached the park gates I was off. There is a little grass verge that I always struggle running across but I tried not to think about it. I kept thinking ok Nicky your half way round the park, your almost there... When laura said I had two mins left ohhhhh the joy of that feeling.. I stepped up my pace... When it was over I could of squeeled, I was elated

Way to go! The first longer run is so exciting. I felt like the earlier weeks paid off. You're only beginning. More elation to come. :)

Well done to you. I'm only on week 2 and have made the mistake of looking at future weeks. Week 5 is the one I'm dreading most...nice to see how you thought of it.....as a route rather than in blocks. Hope if I get there I will do the same. Brilliant stuff
