Out of interest, what does connecting with people do in Garmin? I've seen the option but have always shied away from it as I have assumed that it will allow people to really see how bloomin' slow I am!!

Its a bit like being on here, but with more 'data'. Basically when you connect to someone on Garmin Connect you then have access to the data collected from their runs as well as your own, so what you can see varies depending upon what Garmin gadget the person has. As a basic level though it is maps, pace, times and distance for their runs.

I really wouldn't worry about how slow you are, it just makes it a bit more interesting to see what others are doing and add comments etc. No-one judges you at all.

It's ok, that other one is still me from when I was working out how to use Garmin Connect.

Request accepted and now just need to work out why it says that I haven't run any miles at all!!
