The first run I viewed in Garmin Connect I was able to get the red route line thingy on the map to turn multicoloured. It was different colours for different speeds around the route. I loved it as it really fed into my Geek-Girl-ness. However I'm now beginning to think I might have dreamt it because try as I might I cannot get it to do it again. Not on that run or any of the ones since.
Please tell me I didn't dream it and you know how it's done.

I'm a self confessed Geek and I haven't seen that feature whilst I've been playing with the software. I also googled it and couldn't find anything. Will be interested to see if you get any other replies.
Ok - just checked with hubby and I didn't dream it as he remembers me showing it to him! Agghh! I promise I'll spill the beans if I ever find it again. It was fantastic!
The only time I've seen that is with the separate ConnectStas app (it automatically reads data from your Garmin account). My Garmin is pretty old though so I'm possibly not the best point of reference!
I'm also curious to see where it is within Connect as it is a useful feature.
Oh Frocky - I wish I'd asked you this question last week! It has been really annoying me. You are correct - its in the app that I found it and I can't get it to do it in the normal GarminConnect programme. I love it so I'm really pleased to have it back! Thank you.
But it's not on Garmin Connect as such. I downloaded an app on my iPad called 'ConnectStats- Stats for Garmin Connect and Strava' so that I could look at the stats on my iPad easily. I haven't really used it much since because at the moment I'm making the effort to get my old and cronky laptop out after every run to download whereas later on I plan to do it only once a week.
Well this app was £1.49 and remember it took a bit of setting up but now I can just sign in with my normal Garmin account details and my runs come up - all 3 of them so far - and the map goes multicoloured when you click on it. I love it!
Thanks for all your replies - I only started looking elsewhere when you all said you'd not seen it.
