A catalogue of (small) disasters..

Went to bed last night at 10PM, knowing today was W9R2, wanted to get a good sleep, but woke at 2AM...too hot with the duvet on, too cold with it off... now I have back ache from sleeping in a draught...wheezing, trying to find my inhaler without waking Baldy up...a blood sucking mosquito trapped inside the mosquito net, not outside...back to sleep at 6AM. Woke finally at 8.30AM, a bit late for a run... drank some tea, argued with myself about whether I would go out today or not...temperature already 24C, humidity 78%... OK I'll go....bugger, my phone is completely dead, so no Laura and no GPS...then I had a brain wave! My watch!...I can time 30 mins! Went for my run anyway, no maps or music but luckily I'd already worked out my route beforehand. 3.6KM in 30 mins, that's ok...one more run to go!

Not the ideal preparation :) However, you stuck with it and managed the run (even though it would have been easier not too!) so well done you :) The finish line is now in sight. Good luck and I'm looking forward to reading your graduation post :)

Good on you for getting out there. I bet you felt more exhilarated afterwards for having completed the run.

That's more than ok, that's great! Especially given the start you had!

Are you on Oz have I read? Here in the uk we're suffering all weather all at the same time! It's crazy.

Good luck with your final run :-) x

Well done for getting out there, you are so close to graduating now. 78pc humidity and you ran for 30 mins - wow!

Pinkangel, I'm in France. Took me at least 4 hours to stop sweating, even after a bath!

Aha, France.. nice. Lots of you guys are all over the place! (I get confused, sorry).

Hope you're now feeling a little cooler. I'm off to Spain on Tuesday for a few days so am looking forward to enjoying some Mediterranean weather ▪

Thanks all, I'm planning the graduation run for Tuesday, hoping to get out there a bit earlier, and maybe see how long it takes me to do the full 5K...
