Went out for a run today, first time in almost a week as I've been nursing sore knees. Last Sunday I tried a new 5k route, and found that quite a bit of it was on roads with no footpath, so I ended up running on the unkempt verge. I think this punished my knees. I hauled myself off the couch today and managed a slow 30 mins but it was over 3 k, Some of it was not great some was OK. Got back and found, to add insult to injury (literally) that Strava had recorded my expedition as an "afternoon walk". ☹

Oh bless ya! How rude of strava!😂 Look after those knees - a trip to a dr or sports physio is a good idea if they are not settling. 😀

Afternoon walk, o dear me, I am quite new to a few things, running, Smartphones and apps but I have learned quite quickly how to use them. I was wondering after I graduated and then when I bought a new Smartphone which running app to install, I found that quite a lot of people were having problems with Strava and suggested Mapmyrun was a little better, so I have installed both Mapmyrun AND MapmyWALK, so far I haven't had any problems with them.

Bloody Strava! I’ll kick its ass for you.
Not a great run maybe, but a great runner got through it. Maybe give the knees an extra rest day? Enjoy your next run.
