Wk5 Run 3 Complete

Well I done it! I've spent the whole afternoon panicking about tonight's run. My running buddy Jenny has been an inspiration, she completed the programme about two years ago and has been there for me since Day 1. We run every other day and it wasn't that many weeks ago that after running for a minute I was totally exhausted. I cannot praise this programme enough, I have shocked myself. Tonight I kept my arms moving as well as those hollow legs and saw it as a challenge I must complete. Being totally serious, if I can do it being a good two stone over weight all you people out there just need to have faith in yourself and the programme. Just need to say yippee, week 5 is done, come on week 6 I'm ready! Cheers Jenny I couldn't have done it without you :-)

Great achievement and that's the big 20 minute hurdle out of the way. There'll be no stopping you now :)

I cannot tell you how good it feels! Thank you for the kind words, they are really appreciated :-)

If you can run the 20 mins you can run anything. Have faith you can do it, take W6 slow and steady and you will be graduating before you know it. Well done !

I will take note and wk6 will be slow and steady. Still chuffed to bits that I have completed wk 5. I'll let you know how wk 6 goes. Many thanks for your advice. Everyone on here gives me so much encouragement.

Hi Pinkangel, thanks for the posting. When I started this programme I seriously found it hard to run for 1 minute so I am so pleased to think I have got this far. I will let you know how week 6 goes (I start tomorrow). It's only determination that has got me this far so let's see how week 6 goes! Happy running :-)
