I did nottt feel like running yesterday. It was Monday, I had run every other day since the previous Tuesday (on the plan) and although I felt ready for week two, and I already feel the physical benefit, I was like eughghghghghhhhhh. I was so tired from my weekend, I had the child and the puppy on my own all weekend and being back in the office full time is tiring as well as starting a new exercise programme (when you have previously done nothing). I have been eating well, and trying to make better choices so I'm pleased with that side of things, I think I was just very tired, despite all my early nights. I think the novelty and excitement has worn off slightly and the hard work has started ever so slightly haha. I realise I'm going to have to run further and longer, and I felt a twinge in my shin while I was running yesterday. Basically I think I might have experienced the start of the gremlin thing everyone talks about? I think tomorrow I will be in a much better frame of mind.

Well done for starting week 2 !
The gremlins are real !
They will do their best to stop you going out !
I think this program is as much about mental strength as it is physical .
Don't feed the gremlins after midnight ! 😁

Ignore the inner saboteur! They are very vocal pre-run but oh so so quiet post-run!

Well done stick with it. We all have off days and off runs but the next one usually astounds you believe me. Have a rest day, plenty of fluids a banana 🍌 or two and good luck.
