Week 1 Run 1

So I posted the other day about wanting to start again after having to quit a few months back, and only doing 2 of the course at the time. Finally managed to get out there today and I have to say it went surprisingly well! Had to use my inhalor a few times but got through it alright. I was very tempted to quit once or twice but that was mainly down to the heat today - I don't handle heat very well!

I also weighed myself for the first time in a few weeks and have gained weight rather than losing it :( (damn, i just can't stay away from the chocolate!). So I now have a total of 5st to lose!

Well done for starting it - so many people just talk about it and never do it. Keep at it and the weight will start to melt away.

Hi RainbowPixie

Congratulations on starting the couch to 5k! It's must feel so good to get started! Keep going!

I am in the same situation as you. I would like to lose 5st and also have started yet not completed theC25k programme.

I have started doing some strength exercises but running still scares me for some reason. I am determined to start running this Sunday!!

Good luck!! And thanks for sharing your experience! It's definitely inspired me to get going

Well done! If you've got out there and started you have made the hardest step. Just stick with the programme, it really is fantastic and does amazing things. This forum is very supportive too, plenty of advice and encouragement when you need it. Good luck x

Fellow chocolate lover here! Doesn't help the waist line much does it! All it means now is I want any I have to earn it :) Well done on starting, I started this week too, completed 2 runs. The podcasts are great and Laura I find really helps keep me motivated.

After reading many posts on here I feel motivated to stick with it too, everyone is really nice and supportive. Good luck with your journey x
