Well, after my gruelling wk6r3, along with this heat i decided to give myself 2 days rest dor the first time on this plan. However, this meant there was no avoiding it today and with the weather forecast saying 23 degrees at 9am I was slightly concerned. However, paid attention to the advice i was given on here... hydrated well, good nights rest and felt ready to face it this morning.... stupidly, i chose a route that had me in direct sunlight the whole time and it was HOT!! But - I did it!!!
I wouldnt say it was easy by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, it was still pretty tough. At about 15 mins in I could easily have given in, but then i told myself we are past the half way point...dont you dare!!! Last 5 mins seemed to take forever and i was dripping by the end!! But, as hard as it was, I did actually find it a bit more enjoyable than my last run... so onwards and upwards. And now I am half way through the 4 25 min runs so I reckon I can do this!! Thanks for all the tips!!
