Couch to 5K

Week four run 1 complete but im sore :(

So far I have not experienced any real problems other than niggles as I would expect, however last night I experienced pain in my calves for the first time. This was a gradual pain much worse when I finished my last 5 minute run in fact the first 2 minutes of the warm down walk was very painful. Any advice on what to do to avoid injury will be greatly appreciated as I am really enjoying this programme.

You may want to try using support bandages on your calves or wearing compression socks. These have helped me a lot.
