I've signed up to it because I thought it would help to give some structure to my training - especially on these horrible winter mornings. You set a different challenge for each month (Jan-Mar) and keep a log of each run you do. The targets are entirely personal so could be used in tandem with C25K or for new graduates to help maintain motivation. We could even set up a C25K team if anyone's interested? You have to register before 6th January so still a few days to go.

OK, thanks - I'll take a look. I did try to search for teams but the site kept crashing - probably very busy on New Year's day! Will see you there! :o)
You probably could - you'd maybe just score a reduced percentage for the first week or so and there is an option to "play a joker" if you're ill or injured. Also, it doesn't start until 6th January so you may be part way through your lay-off period by then - worth taking a look at the rules on the website.
For more info about our Jantastic team, please go here: healthunlocked.com/couchto5... There's still time to join the NHS Couch to 5K team if you haven't joined a team yet. Please post in the aforementioned HU forum to let us know you've joined us.
I just signed up and joined the group and logged yesterday's run. I'm trying to restart the programme following a 4 week layoff due to sickness/dizziness. ENT has diagnosed an inner-ear problem which is ongoing but tells me that keeping active is the best way to make it go away. I'd got to the end of week 7 before getting ill, so have dropped back and did w5r3 yesterday. My plan is to do 3 runs a week and progress through the plan again from week 6. I will use a joker if I get too sick to run again.
