WELL DONE YOU, Saxyviking! Welcome to this wonderful blog site and so pleased you have made a start - you won't regret it! You will soon be feeling many benefits of doing the program so keep on bogging and let us know how you are doing! We are a mad lot on here but you can air any topic which is niggling you and you will get a response. You'll be surprised how many awkward bits have been aired!

Congratulations on making the decision to start C25k. It will change your life. Don't forget to do stretches post run (NHS Choices page) and keep up the enthusiasm. Good luck and enjoy your running.

Congrats for starting, I had to repeat week 1 as couldn't breathe, I'm now on Wk4 and still having aches and pains, but this forum keeps you going. Along with the fact that you will love "Laura" on the pod casts and hate her in equal measure

I am on week 2 and am feeling just like you. If you'd told me a month ago that I'd be saying, "I can't wait to go for my run!" I'd have laughed in your face. My knees are really hurting, and I'm hoping I can make it on my run tomorrow, but I don't want to lose any more time!!! Congratulations!

WELL,what a wonderful bunch of people!! thank you ALL so much for your encouragement. I can see I have not just started a fitness campaign, but joined a Family, I am quite overwhelmed. I guess I will need this more as time goes on, so to see such wonderful responses from the outset is just BRILLIANT. THNX Peeps,

oh Ian, thank you,for your valueable piece of coaching there, went straight back out and did them as soon as I saw your reply, great tip Buddy.
