Week 2 Run 1 Completed

So tonight saw me complete Week 2 Run 1. I certainly did notice those additional 30 seconds of running (per stint) compared to Week 1. That said, I think that my breathing recovered faster after each stint. I do have to work hard on improving my breathing, as I feel that it will be key... Still feeling good πŸƒ

Well done on starting week two, it didn't seem too bad to me - apart from the long walks :)

Yes, I often struggled with my breathing. I'm trying the technique of inhale every 3 steps, exhale every 2 and gradually it keeps me in control of my breathing rather than the other way round but I've still got some way to go before I can completely get used to this.

Hey TonyR1972, You might just be onto something there. I'll give it a try on Wednesday evening. Thx

I am on week 3 still can't control breathing. I'm hoping it might click one day!

Well done on completing today's run.

I too struggled with my breathing until today. I was trying to focus on what Michael Johnson said about breathing every 4 steps and I nearly forgot to breathe!!

Instead I forgot about trying to find rhythm of my breathing and I let go, my body took over and found it's own rhythm and I was so much happier 😊

It's taken me to WK5R2 to get there but I've finally found what's right for me.

Thanks for this Kimchoc08, I very much hope that my body will find its breathing rhythm soon. I'm so glad that you've found your zone. Look forward to updates on progress. β˜ΊοΈπŸƒ
