Week 2 Run 1

Almost didn't go out last night as I wasn't feeling 100% but I went and so glad I did.

I really did notice the extra 30 seconds of running but finished my run even closer to my house than last week so must be making some progress without really noticing too much. A wee bit sore today but looking forward to the next one!

I'm on the same progress as you - wk2 run 1 last night. I actually felt like a runner on one of the 90 second segments - and then felt like an old man bumbling along on the next one... Each time I go out I feel slightly better - the increase to 90 seconds from 60 was easier than I thought it would be. Roll on Wednesday!

Well done you, I have completed my wk2 r1 today. Got to admit I liked the tip of breathing in for 4 steps and out for steps whilst running, I found that took my mind off the 90 seconds. Good luck for Run 2. :-)

I can't concentrate enough to count to 4...haha! But good that its helping you tho. Anything to keep the mind off that 90 seconds! Run 2 done tho and seem to be getting a little further with each run 👍🏻

I’m running too slow to breath in for that length of time!!😂😂😂 maybe I will manage it in later weeks.

W2R2 completed - managed to run about 50m further before the bell rang. I'll admit to a solitary fist pump at that moment...... I seem to have found my "run" now, disappointed to find it's not the athletic graceful run of a young gazelle I enjoyed in my teens, but hey, I'm out there doing it!

Absolutely better than sat on the couch. You're ticking the runs off and that's all that matters!
