hi, I completed week 3 on 13 September but have not run since due to a chest infection,
I haven't run for 10 days due to a chest infection, I went running on Sunday and ended up having to be collected by my husband 2k in. I think if your still feeling rough, give it a little longer and if you have to go back a little, so be it, your health comes first.
I had to take two weeks out after week 3, when I sprained my ankle. I did week 3 again and have just gone on to week 4. It was fine, like you said I didn't feel up to going straight to week 4.
I, like you, just wanted to get going. I felt really disappointed to be injured so soon into the program and also a bit foolish. I had to force myself to not run when it was starting to feel better. As Tready says you really need to look after yourself. A chest infection can make you feel weak for ages and you shouldn't underestimate how long it takes to recover. If you push it too soon you might make yourself worse and have to take longer out. Good luck and hope you feel better soon x
