Hi everyone, I completed WK 3 run1 today, and I loved every minute of it. Yeah I'm finding it tough, but once I got going I really enjoyed it. (This sounds so strange as I have been "anti" running for so many years).
I am recovering a lot quicker after a run too so find myself chomping at the bit for the next one. (Yep it's true).
I think my enthusiasm has finally rubbed off on my hubby as he went for a run today. He is convinced he doesn't need a podcast to tell him what to do, but I'm sure I'll convince him that Laura is a running goddess and a necessity!!! Haha
Well thats enough from me. thank you for your continued support and good luck to everyone this week.......................Keep running

Brilliant! So pleased you are loving it...but be warned - your life may never be the same again!
My husband is the same - refuses to listen to the experts and insists on running to his own schedule (which is basically when he feels like it, for as far as he feels!). I loved the podcasts because I'm anal and need to know that I've ticked the boxes and done a proper job.
I did the same Wk3R1 yesterday and found it difficult but achievable. I was recovering better and my legs feel less achey too.
I'm not ocnvinced that I'm metamorphosing into a runner just yet especially after Laura's comments about people behind hedges not being able to tell the difference if I was running or walking - eh he
I'm chuckling away because I had the same reaction to the hedge comment. I found myself staring into anything reflective along the run to see how "bouncy" I was!!
