Wk8/R3 nailed and I feel great!!!

My best run ever!!!! I ran without Laura and hubby ran with her for the first time. I loved my playlist and my pace was much better today. I was able to get into the zone and my playlist tracks gave me a lift when needed. Breathing and legs felt good and I could have run for longer. I really like the runkeeper app but didn't get the timing cues. However my husband who ran with the podcast signalled Laura's cues to me - so funny!!! Can't believe how far we've come and feel pretty emotional just thinking about it. Happy running to everyone out there and never give up.

Ah Mazzero that's brilliant!! Well done!

You've done so well to get this far, and I know what you mean about it being emotional!! I felt the same!

Not long now to graduation...can't wait to hear about it! :-)

Thank you so much J. The encouragingly supportive comments from you and other graduates has been truly inspiring coupled with the camaraderie from my fellow C25K peers has kept me going.

That's brilliant! I know what you mean about feeling emotional - when I completed my first 20 minute solid run and Laura said I could stop and well done - I actually welled up!!! Keep going - I love this site, it's so inspirational and helps make sure I don't loose focus!

totally agree with you about the emotions after my first 20 min run (week 5 run 3) I'm afraid I did cry LOL, what a site, red face, running around my local park/playing fields and crying (with happiness). I don't comment on everyones post, but just checking in and reading all the posts are so motivating. I often wish they just had a 'like' button, as I so often want to show my agreement on a comment.

I'm now heading into Week 7...with trepidation LOL. - good luck to you all x

So great to see how committed you are, Katee. Really super what you are doing. Congratulations. I often pretend I am invisible when I'm out for my run, easier somehow with the sensory deprivation of Laura-in-my-ears. And that lets me relax much more for the run itself. I found Week 7 the best, most rewarding of the series. Feels so good. Finally truly good. Best wishes on your W7 runs with weather perfect weather for R1. Cheers!

Well done Mazzerro! This truly is a fantastically inspiring site for us all, I really don't think I'd be as far as I am without it. Inspiring posts and lots of encouragement! :)

Well done Mazzerro, that's great! I also know exactly what you mean about feeling emotional. Got a bit tearful after W8R1 today, because I now know it's not IF I graduate, it's WHEN!
