With legs of lead. I was undecided about going out for a run this evening after a restless night & a long day at work but went anyway. Any run is better than no run. There were a few glitches, I forgot to put Week 9 of C25K on ( I intended to repeat it a few times) & missed the voice cues, got my pacing & breathing in a tangle & slowed to a walk after 20 min. I am not daunted because it is a learning curve, I now know I am better at early morning runs, will need voice cues for a while and, despite feeling tired, still ran for 20 mins. All in all not too bad x
First post grad run .....: With legs of lead. I... - Couch to 5K
First post grad run .....
Well done Dhiny, as you say it's going to be a learning curves for us new grads I think. I'm undecided whether to take Laura and W9 with me tomorrow or try my music with timings on my running app :\ think it will be a last minute decision. Onwards x
I thought I had activated the voice cues on my fitbit app - they always cut across C25K when I accidently put them on last time but did they appear today when they were wanted? Of course not! LOL I'm sure we'll get it right eventually, the important thing is that we continue to get out there & run. Happy running folks
Hi,
I did my first run post graduation today too.
Ran for 30 minutes, but was
so tired towards last 8/9 minutes.. going to try and keep it going 2/3 times a week.
Pretty good, I'd say.
Good for you. 3 times week is great... only way to get a bit faster too.
I'm doing SlimmingWorld for weight loss✅
