We were out for 7.15 and the sun was out but it was still cool. The fields were glistening with dew and we were able to see our foot imprints on the grass. Hubby obsessed with running in his own footprints to keep a thin line on his map my run GPS map(looks like a revolver without a trigger). I didn't think about my breathing or how I was running I just felt more relaxed about it all today. Mind you it is still hard trying to ignore the tightening calves as you get nearer to the end. All in all felt really good until hubby checked his stats and told me we were marginally slower today and I reminded him that we didn't sprint the last 30 secs(didn't have it in me today) and to be honest my sprint isn't really a sprint. We are only covering a little over 3k in the 28 min run section but as Laura points out it isn't about speed but keeping going for the 28 minutes. We were back home stretched out and showered just in time to look after my gorgeous grandson who was dropped off at 8.30.

Week 8 Run 2 felt really good today
Mazzero, we are right at the same place, I'm doing my third 8 week run tomorrow. I can't believe how much I think about running when I'm not! 4runs to graduation now!
Great to hear your progress, I'll be doing my first 28 min run (week 8, run 1) later today.
Mazzero, It's lovely getting out while it is still dewy and cool! It helps tremendously to keep you going. So - a great run for you and ONLY 4 MORE and you've done it!
Good Luck for the next 4! Hope it keeps cool for you!
Wow so many of us at the same stage. Good luck with w9 Beek and Inmind Ill be willing you on as always. Was thinking though that it would be good to have separate week 9/R3 podcast with lots of fanfares and drum rolls at the end. Oh I hate this predictive text just had to edit drumrolls from dry rolls!!!
