Absolutely freezing this afternoon-my fingernails were blue! Took a little longer than normal to warm up!!
I felt I was going a little quicker in the second half but it felt comfortable. And loved the sprint once again at the end!
An enjoyable run, a refreshing run! Didn’t think I’d make it out today- we tried to transition the baby into his own room last night, well with his sister, but they woke each other up all night!!! So after 4 hours sleep, a coffee and banana I made the decision just to go for it! Glad I did!!

That's amazing, well done! My W7R2 is on Wednesday and I can't wait. I run at 6am so it's pretty cold and dark but I did buy some running clothes today so I'll see how they feel for the next one.
The baby slept the whole night in his new room-but the 2 year old was in our bed at 6am this morning pulling my hair and using my back as a treadmill!!!
Wow, Marcia, the 2-year-old was using your back as a treadmill, (some here call it a dreadmill) the sooner he/she can walk the better, get him/her into some sort of running club as soon as possible.
She can walk, she was just being naughty! The baby was just standing in the living room the other day, much to my horror and delight-he's doing everything very quickly! I do wonder if he's going talk soon!!!! 🙀
We should hopefully be joining a junior Parkrun on Sunday for her-she can't register as you need to be 4 but we'll go to the back and tag along for some fun!
Great job... after that night most people wouldn’t get up and do this, and who’d blame them... but that’s not our Marcia, nothing keeps her down. Very well done, hopefully you’ll get some sleep into run 3
Well done on getting out there. It does help. The excitement/change will wear off for your daughter.... eventually. It was a long time ago but I still, like others, remember those days.
Now the weather is turning don’t forget to add gloves to your running gear and Rooster678 . I’ve already had to use some lightweight ones on a couple of runs (ended up stuffed in my bra after a short distance but I did need them at the start).
