Week 8 run 2

Just completed week 8 run 2 today.

Felt good and finished with a 3.11 miles/5 km.

Feels good to hit the 5km. mark by week 8.

Keep on running and enjoy it.

Work hard and we will all get there.

Great running... congratulations on that 5k, not many do that in the plan, even fewer in week 8! Enjoy running the next one with a smug grin in the knowledge that you owned this.

Don’t forget you can change the pace and do a few slow ones, you don’t have to keep increasing the pace every run. Slow runs are a revelation!

Maybe I will try a slower run week 8 run 3

It’s like finding a whole new range of gears. Totally comfortable, easy breathing, can chat without difficulty (to the trees). And letting go of the concept of running being about pace and distance is quite liberating, you can just listen to your breathing and take in the world around you. A different experience 🙂
