Link to a recently published study, the findings of which support what most of us know intuitively - that nature is good for us

Very interesting, thanks for linking. I wonder what happens to saliva though? !

That's a very interesting study. I know that running in parks and/or woodland always helps to clear my mind. Thank you for sharing.

That's interesting. I can't run on a treadmill - I tried and fell off. The second time I tried I just couldn't keep up a pace. I like running outdoors - I like to vary my pace and not have to press buttons (that's what made me fall off!), I like the breeze and saying hello to walkers and fellow joggers, sometimes I run on the road and sometimes on the grass - I run near farmland and wave to the cows... However, if I'm still running in the winter I may have changed my mind.

winter ... yep, nothing like the prospect of natural snow, ice and freezing hail battering my face. That's why I'm definitely a fair weather outsider. Come the end of October, the central heating is on, and the treadmill gets fired up again. I have to say I love running outside in the better weather, but otherwise prefer to fire up the 'mill and admire the frosty stuff from indoors. BRRRRR! :)
