For those who like to listen to the spoken word while running

This was on yesterday: bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0902g4w

It is about running marathons, but the presenter started out with C25K and the programme mentions others who followed the plan, such as Kate Carter, who started the Guardian running blog. The Radio 4 Extra programme is three hours long, so – unless you're doing a marathon! – should last for a few runs.

It's on for another 29 days or so. You can also download it, although it is pretty hefty in terms of MB.

Keep on running 🎶 😊

And that programme has led me to follow to the Running Commentary link, which sounds like good fun. I may start listening to the podcasts when I've finished the Keep on Running programme.

Good tip thanks I also looked at the Guardian running blog too, but I am biased I think the reports on here with all the variety of people, places and abilities is much more interesting. But definitely checking out the recording

I know what you mean, Hidden . Although Kate Carter herself started with C25K, it's hard to get a sense of whether the people who comment on the blog did so, and if they did, they've gone somewhat further beyond it. (Not that I've read that many posts; I only looked at one week's worth.) I've listened to about an hour of the R4xtra programme and will continue with it on my next few runs.
