Before I ran, a holiday was a chance to relax, explore new cultures and countries and try exciting food and drink a bit too much. Now I choose the hotel on the basis of whether there is a gym....Here in Vietnam it is forecast 38 degrees and given that I struggle with the high teens for running, there will be no jogging along this beach. So thank heavens for the treadmill, even though I was still too hot in the air conditioned gym. I went in a damp top and steamed gently on my walk back to the room. Still, a nice little 4K done π

Wow Vietnam?! That is on my bucket list! The beach looks absolutely beautiful, but yes, it does look a tad warm for running!! Enjoy your stay there whether itβs for pleasure or business...well done on a warm 4K! x
It is an amazing, interesting place to visit. I can not recommend it highly enough if you get the chance
My son and his partner live in China so we are all here for a big family holiday get together
Beautiful... and well done! That sand looks lovely... for sitting on x
That looks like paradise. A swim after running to cool down? πββοΈππ»ββοΈβοΈ
Have a great time !
Thanks. Yes lots of lazy swimming going on π
Lucky woman! That looks stunning... soft white sand is so nice, followed by a cool off swim ππ
Love SE Asia and their temps: forecast temp 38 deg. Feels like temp: 45 deg π³ Very wise to go to gym! How did you get on with dreadmill ? Did you put in some training before you left or was this first time?
Very lucky indeedπ Such is my obsession that I had a business trip in the UK and made sure I booked a hotel with a gym and asked the nice gym lady for some instruction as preparation for the holiday!
We were in Hanoi and on a boat before here so no chance to run until now. You would definitely be run over by a scooter if you ran in the city! πππΎββοΈ
Oooh have a lovely holiday Helenwheels, a lovely family get together!
Kudos on your gymwork! ππxxx
