I've just completed W7R3 after giving up halfway through on Monday! Yay!

I chose a different route, partly on country tracks - I'd always avoided slopes and rocky surfaces because of my painful knees but it was a joy! No, really! I even exceeded the 25 minutes because I accidentally paused Michael at the halfway point when I checked my progress, and I think I ran about 3.8km. So if you're feeling discouraged (as I was yesterday) don't give up.

I'm starting 2018 today! :) 👍

Hi Lizz, just got back and managed to complete the run but only just! The last couple of mins my legs felt like lead!

But it’s under the belt. Now to deal with the 3 extra mins in week 8! 😱

Well done. When are you running again? I have some time on Friday afternoon if the weather's not too bad, but at the moment we're having very high winds.

Enjoy your recovery day :)

I’m planning to go on Saturday as back at work now. So two days to rest! 😊

I've only got half my usual classes this week (I teach adults, and most of them are still on holiday) so I'm making the most of my free time - next week will be much more difficult, but I really want to keep up the momentum.

It's great knowing someone else is at the same stage - let me know how you get on on Saturday.

Best wishes

Brilliant...very encouraging to those who are doubting themselves...just because you don’t complete a run doesn’t mean to say you can’t have another go...the first attempts is just a practice...well done for getting out there, the end is in sight 😉
