I ran yesterday and I really wanted to run today too. But should I? I'm still considered a novice runner, so alternate days are still advised hmmm. It's a gorgeous, sunny autumnal morning and the day is calling me hmmm. If I don't run today I won't get the opportunity until Thursday hmmm. Oh, the indecision. Oh heck, I only did half hour yesterday, another half hour today can't hurt... So I loaded the Morning easy run and set off. Oh, how glad I am I did. The steady footsteps, the glorious sunshine dancing on wet leaves, the birdsong, the breeze in my face and the sheer enjoyment of being in the moment for that run, noticing and observing every little thing. I'm relatively new to mindfulness training and yes it was great. The run was pretty good too. A great decision.

The Mindfulness runs are great, they get you concentrating on the really important stuff not the numbers.

The pic is on one of my regular routes and this morning it looked just magical in the morning sun. Yes it is an NRC run, I would recommend it when you're out running again or even out for a walk, that would definitely work.
