Good morning runners! A nice early rise today, up before 5am and out for a run before half past.
Warm up walk and stretches 1st, got to do the basics. Jacket and tights today, the sun has not yet risen the temperature though is already very nice, hopefully a nice day to come π€π»
The run was unspectacular and pain free, still feel slow and heavy but only to be expected as only my 4th run back. Pleased to have finished and happy there was no pain, build my strength and distance back up and then work on speed.
I wanted to do park run today but I'm just too much of an early riser π€£ good luck to everyone taking part today though ππ»
Have a great weekend, happy running!

That was a very nice (not) parkrun for you early this morning Jeericho2332, well done, I won't be at parkrun this morning, although I ran my 92nd (not) parkrun last Wednesday, back to parkrun next Saturday.
How lovely to be out so early. Thatβs a glorious early morning view, to more than make up for the heaviness in the legs. π Have you remembered your hydration in the days ahead (well, constantly with regular running, really). Before I landed on the IC, Iβd started trying out the Garmin hydration feature. It definitely helped me hit my daily water targets and I felt the difference on my runs. Well done on your run today.
Thanks Gail, have to admit I doubt I'm hitting correct water levels though I am trying π I've not tried the feature on the Garmin yet, I will have to check that out ππ»
Next run probably Monday morning (working Sunday π€’) hopefully another bright and early one π€π» I love this time of year, so nice to be out seeing everything coming into bloom! Rest of the day I think il spend in garden π
It even adjusts the daily target dynamically according to your activity levels. I ignored the feature for ages, but it has helped me up and gauge my intake. It also lets tea and coffee count (in moderation). You learn a lot about your daily pattern after a while.
