I do like days off 😀in winter when I come home in the dark and cold from work tired and hungry we just don’t get out for a run
Willow has been hobbling all week, I’ve muttered “ put those insoles we bought you last summer in your trainers” several times, we don’t call it nagging in our house, anyway this morning while I was knitting and generally grumbling about the wool he put the insoles in and started saying how great they felt so supportive etc. anyway I never say I told you so ..... off we went
Adam and the Ants in my ears I felt so bouncy
Warm up walk, run a gentle kilometre, the air was too cold, my mouth hated it! had my buff round my head to keep my ears warm pulled it down round my neck and up over my nose and mouth, breathing much nicer but now my glasses were huffed up and i couldn’t see!! passed the car and threw my hoodie onto the bonnet, I really don’t understand how i can run with bare arms when everyone else is walking with coats and scarves
And oh flip, we’ve run the first kilometre so i need to run fast to beat last weeks speed challenge,
That was hard.....7.32 possibly my fastest ever kilometre and wow I was puffed out
Gentle kilometre saying hello to all the regular dog walkers, can’t see Willow, turn round go the other way, nope he’s not there, pass the car, nope he’s not there, turned again and there he is gently running still, had already stopped my garmin so walked to meet him
Willow beat last weeks time by about a minute and was still saying how great the insoles were and i still wasn’t saying i told you so 😀
Went to collect some Christmas face masks i’d ordered last week and home
Have a great weekend everyone
