After a very busy morning with 2 adorable grandchildren I finally got my first Week 2 run in after lunchtime. The weather was dry ish but it was windy (40mile hour gusts) lots of debris under foot so needed to be careful and look where I was going. Along the road and up the hill I went and round the corner o my I was nearly blown off my feet. I battled on until I came to the higher hedgerows hoping they would shield me from the worst of the wind which they did. But then came the rain. A shirt sharp shower of veery wet big raindrops. I was soaked in seconds. But I was only doing W2 run 1 so I battled on. A few farm trucks slowed down for me and then I reached the halfway bell. Thank goodness. Round I turned and off i ran. Finally got back to my home π‘ somewhat wet and very windswept but. I completed βοΈ that run. π hurrah.
