I was determined to get up and out this morning in spite of weather. So up I got and jumped into my gear. A few stretches and off I went. A watery sun shone and a brisk wind blew against me up the little hill. But I thought round the bend it would settle down but whoosh another big gust. On I battled and then the hedges gave me some shelter and my breathing settled down. But then the rain came. Thankfully I had put my rain jacket on but it was no match for this rain. But I thought weβll Iβm wet now so I might as well carry on. 20 minutes of rain and wind and I was back π‘. Into the utility room to sort out clothes then shower and hot coffee mmmm. A good run but very wet and windy π¨π§π¨π§happy running everyone πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

I love a rainy run, especially when there's hot coffee at the end! Wouldn't want every run to be wet, but it's nice & cooling & makes me feel tough to be out in it π
You're brave, I took one look out of the window and decided'tomorrow' π
Ah, now I headed out this evening after the wind and rain. I just had the mud to cope with, but I secretly love the mud, so thatβs okay π¦ Well done for your wet & wild run though. It sounds bracing.
Me too! I got soaked! Ran for 30 mins then had a coffee sheltering under the balcony of a first floor flat. The owner came out and unthinkingly tipped all of the water that had collected in her kids paddling pool out and on to me ! I was wet anyway but it was a shock
Haha π€© wow what a shock. Hope you still managed to drink your well earned coffee. π€£π€£
Well done for getting out there. I managed to get a run in early before the rain set in, but I've just been out for a long walk, and even with all my wet weather gear I felt thoroughly sorry for myself when I got back, and looking forward to some comfort food. So well done on braving it just in running gear! ππͺ
Well done! It's a great feeling to get back and in the warm and know that you're doing great.
