another wet and wild run. And a question.

Decided to go out for a run after taking grandson to nursery. Togged up and off I went. O my was it wild. Then came the rain. Never mind I’m wet now so I carry on with W4run 2. Three quarters of the way through my ankles start to burn. Pain shooting up from outer aspect of ankle. Not had it before. Anyone got any ideas. I managed to complete run as I had a 90 sec walk befor e final 5 minutes which I completed but it was painful. Any ideas what this might be. BTW my hip seems happy enough. 🤣🤣🤣

Not sure about that pain in your ankles Scruff55, maybe the shoes you were running in had something to do with it, take a few extra days off running then go for a very short run and see how your ankles respond.

That's sounds painful, not something I've come across before but I'm glad your hip's holding up

Is it painful if you rub or apply pressure to the area? Any new lumps or bumps?

no it’s only painful while I’m running 😫😫

Hmm. Could be something rubbing. Maybe experiment with different socks and shoe combinations.

I find that mid-calf socks combined with leggings causes rubbing against the back of my ankle. If I allow it to continue over several sessions it starts to become painful.

Sounds painful... is there any pain when you do ankle circles or stretch your foot out toes first ?

Well done on the wet run though!
