I've had a bit of a lupus flare this week with painful and weak shoulders leading to poor sleep and fatigue.πͺ
My Wednesday morning run was okay but I didn't really do any stretching afterwards. I skipped my Friday run and the extra rest turned out to be for the best as I managed to run 9k this morning. πββοΈπββοΈ
I had l an early grocery delivery 6-7 am, then did a few stretches (forgot the leg swings), and set out. It was grey, damp, drizzly and very windy.
I only saw about 10 runners on my circuit around the dock this morning and even the dog walkers were few and far between.
I did some stretches and foam rolling when I got home. I will have to get up a bit earlier to fit runs and pre and post run stretching on weekdays though.
My pace is slow at 11.41 min/km ππbut I know that 10k is within reach now. I'm loving my Sunday runs.

Really well done on the 9K especially after your flare up.
Youβre within a whisker of that 10K π donβt worry about pace, this is all about taking it slowly and building the stamina that is critical for longer distances.
Enjoy the final K and the feeling when youβve done it! πͺ
Very well done! You really are so very close to 10k, how exciting π I'm also a slow runner but I found out when I started extending distance that slower running made for more enjoyable runs! Good luck with your 10k next Sunday, you'll be smiling for days πͺπππ
