9k run with a friend

Went out this morning with friend who is doing the 10k charity run with me in 3 weeks. First time running with someone else (other than park run). Great fun but we had to do some walking bits as rather muddy in places causing us to slip and slide. Other than first 2k being to fast I even managed to talk and run at same time 😉

That’s fantastic. I did a cross country run weeknd before this one. It really was dangerous, mud over my ankles and very treacherous round the gates, so not surprised you walked bits. Im not going to attempt it again till it dries out a bit.

Great run great pace. How was the runner's colour chart? I am guessing if you talked and ran at the same time, that you are now a pale raspberry diva like shade of pink!

The first thing I noticed when I joined the running club is how much they talk. They just never stop chatting! Running and talking is my goal for club nights. Total respect to you for the distance, and the talking while running!👍👏👏👏

Thought I'd mention, I've started playing the cornet again. It's really tough going! I wish they did a version of C25k for lapsed cornet players! 🎺😥

Good luck with the cornet playing. It is such a part of my life I love it. I guess you can apply the same theory as c25k slow and steady 👍🎺🎶
